Lovely friendly atmosphere, been a few times since opening & loved the experience, will definitely go again… great choice in films & what a way to reminisce with bringing some of the old classics back 🫶

Great atmosphere and lovely facilities.. locals need to support this independent cinema... There are however some "teething issues" still in place.. Gin 'n Tonics in plastic pint glasses, no slices for your GnT, lager and no bitter... However.... As I say... These are small issues that can and hopefully will, be overcome... In general nice place to watch movies in... Please do not take your own nibbles .. buy there, support the cinema, and keep it going... 👌👍

Went back to Royal Cinema this evening to watch Pretty Woman with 3 friends Wendy at the tills was really welcoming and accommodating 😊, Tristan and the 2 lads on bar were also really friendly

Fantastic. Took my 5 year old to see Despicable Me 4 on Saturday morning. Very friendly and helpful staff (interaction with my child was great too, great place, and really reasonable ticket and food prices. I had taken snacks just in case there was nothing suitable, but never touched them, instead bought from the counter. Will do same in future as I know they depend on food and drink sales for their profit. Was really quiet at this time. I will not go to any of the other cinemas in Tamworth etc again…

Absolutely thrilled to have a cinema back in Sutton instead of having to go to Birmingham.
It’s been fitted out loverly with an art deco style and all the staff were amazing/friendly
Upstairs you’ve got a new bar with sofas and a huge selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Would highly recommend and will be going back again

Great cinema walked there nice to have a cinema in the town, went there as a child art deco still there staff and cinema are 100% well done , bar up stairs nice I am going here now instead of brum and other cinema, and treat yourself to a meal in sutton as well I'm supporting the local area . 2nd visit here sept 2024 enjoyed just as good as the first visit give it a go sure you will not be disappointed.

Forget star city, Royal at Sutton Coldfield is 100% better. The staff are so friendly. The new bar is great and the mud slide cocktail is fantastic. Would definitely be able to make it more of an evening out with a few drinks first. I was in for a shock when I walked in to the screen. No typical cinema seats her you have very comfortable armchair style seats which even have there own foot stools. Now we have such a lovely cinema in Sutton I hope that everyone respects it.

The cinema has been fitted out beautifully. Really comfy with plenty of legroom. My only niggle is that i could hear the background noise from the film on a neighbouring screen which made it hard to totally concentrate. It wasn't through the whole film so must have been when there was loud music.

Attended with my daughter yesterday to have some quality time together - service was second to none - with a free upgrade to reclined seats - best film I’ve ever sat and watched in such comfort - defo plan to return- shout out to Finlay working on tills - great chap chose us the best seats ! Thanks again

First visit since the refurb. Lovely fresh art deco cinema. Great staff, lovely facilities, food is the standard stuff but that isn’t a problem. Good to have the cinema back in Sutton.
Advice: The parking isn’t an issue. Park down Bishops Road opposite the cinema.

Love that we have a cinema back in Sutton Coldfield. Comfortable and very clean. Honour meerkat 2 for 1 and a discount for over 60's. Fabulous!

Can highly recommend the Royal cinema, what a wonderful experience. The decor is first class. The only criticism I have is the disability parking. There is only room for a few cars and I'm not sure how many of those are disability spaces.
