The great menu debate - Wrexham & Shropshire Trains want to tickle your tastebuds....
Wrexham & Shropshire is the only train company in the country to offer a full dining service on every train they run. From January 13th to February 4th, they are asking passengers to have their say on the current menu, their new ideas and what they would like to see onboard.
Passengers travelling 1st class receive a complimentary two course meal, freshly cooked on-board using locally sourced ingredients. In standard class, a full buffet service is available serving drinks, hot and cold sandwiches and a range of freshly cooked snacks. Standard class passengers can alternatively purchase a two course meal to be served at their seat.
The catering consultation now offers passengers the opportunity to have their say and they will be automatically entered into a competition to win first class tickets including a full cooked meal from the new menu.
Thomas Ableman, Marketing Director at Wrexham & Shropshire Trains, said: "We are always looking at ways to improve our catering service; we have lots of ideas but really want to hear from our passengers regarding our menu. It's a really important part of our service and we want to ensure we deliver what our passengers want when they travel with us."
