Well, maybe training like the fastest man in the world is a bit extreme, but we can all learn a little and be inspired by Mr Bolt.
Usain Bolt does not just train to be fast over 100metres. There's a little more to it than that!
One 9.5 second race is broken down into several elements. The preparation, diet, commitment, start, technique, posture, strength, tactics, final 20 metres. You get the idea!
Perhaps next time you exercise or train, think about the different elements involved in what you are doing, or perhaps the different benefits. It's not all about weight loss, muscle toning and feeling good. The benefits of exercise are numerous: lowering blood pressure, improving metabolism, reducing health risk factors, improved flexibility and mobility, improved mood... and so on!
