Design supremo, Joel Stone of Salop Creative, based just outside Shrewsbury, is back to tantalize us with his top five tips to brand success....
Branding your business is one of the most important elements of engaging with your potential customers. Consider your brand as your audience's opinion of your business, how they see you. Create a positive opinion and be prepared to reap the rewards.
Here I list a few strategies to get you started:
Research your audience
Research your target audience. What do they like? What appeals to them? What tone should your branding take to engage them? Good research will mean you understand what your audience likes and where they go online and in the outside world so you can effectively target them.
Tell your audience what they want to hear
So you have the product or service your client wants and you know the tone to engage with them. So tell them! Its what they want to hear.
Spread your brand online
Use social networking, email newsletters, blogs, forums, paid for advertising and many more platforms to drive home your brand online. Using multiple web channels shows your are available and eager to provide your service or product to your customers.
Social media integration
Use social media to generate personalised relationships with your audience. Answer their questions, engage with them, consider it the same as having a conversation with a potential customer over the shop counter. Make them experience your brand.
Build on your reputation
Once you start to get noticed, build on your reputation. Offer helpful advice, point people to useful parts of your website, follow-up all enquiries, offer great deals. There is so much you can do to give your audience a great opinion of your business.
This is just a brief overview of how you can build your brand. For more information of a free consultation contact Salop Creative on 01743 493 077.
