A Shropshire solicitor has ‘returned home’ and resumed her career with a professional county law firm to help boost its private client team.

Lucy Kealy is back with Lanyon Bowdler after a five-year absence and brings her specialist knowledge in wills, powers of attorney and estate administration/probate back to the company. She will operate out of the firm’s Shrewsbury office.

Lanyon Bowdler managing partner Brian Evans said the firm was pleased to have Lucy back as it continued to expand its team.

“It is like welcoming her home and we are delighted to have Lucy back,” he said. “She left us in 2011 to have her family and then she spent a time working for another local firm of solicitors and a national probate company.

“She is working out of our Shrewsbury office and comes in to help bolster our private client team.

“Her specialist area is wills, powers of attorney and estate administration and she will be a valuable addition to our team.”

Lucy graduated with an honours degree in law from Lancaster University in 1998 and completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at the College of Law in Birmingham in 2003.

She carried out her training contract with Lanyon Bowdler and qualified as a solicitor in 2006.

Lucy is an Associate Member of Solicitors for the Elderly and acts as secretary for the Shropshire Solicitors for the Elderly Regional Group.

In her spare time, Lucy enjoys reading, socialising and spending time with her young family.

Lanyon Bowdler has offices in Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Telford, Hereford and Bromyard. For further information about the law firm visit
