A local firm of solicitors is celebrating the appointment of an experienced new member of staff to help further enhance its client offer across its Powys and Shropshire offices.

PCB Solicitors has welcomed Helen Barrett as Licensed Conveyancer to provide advice on residential and agriculture properties to a range of clients, dividing her time between the firm’s Knighton and Craven Arms offices.

Helen, a qualified Licensed Conveyancer, joins the firm following a successful career in the industry which has seen her deal with conveyancing for residential and agricultural properties initially with a firm of Solicitors in Newtown, later taking on the role of Conveyancer and Office Manager at MedlicottSnows Solicitors in Knighton.

Rachael Hughes, Partner at PCB Solicitors, explained: “Helen is full of enthusiasm for her work and for her clients, and she’s settled in with the PCB team brilliantly already. She’ll be working closely with local residents in the Knighton and Craven Arms area, helping them through the process of conveyancing for their buildings and agricultural properties, as well as helping to further enhance the office’s service offer. Helen’s appointment evidences our commitment to further developing the high level of service that we offer to clients in Powys and the surrounding community.”

Helen Barrett added: “I’m thrilled to have joined such a thriving company and as a local person to Knighton and Clun, I’m really pleased that I can work with other local residents to support them with their legal requirements. Clients can also pop into the office without an appointment on a Thursday during Knighton’s bustling weekly market, or by appointment on a Tuesday. The remaining weekdays I’m based at the Craven Arms office, so am still nearby for clients if they require advice and guidance.”
