A Shropshire firm of solicitors has joined the likes of John Lewis and Sainsbury’s by unveiling its own touching ad.
But the difference with Lanyon Bowdler’s film is that one lucky winner will be able to keep the star of the show - a handmade Merrythought teddy bear which is now being given away as a competition prize.
Staff at Lanyon Bowdler will also be donating large teddy bears to the children’s wards at Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital and Hereford County Hospital in the new year.
The film shows a craftsman painstakingly constructing a bear which is used to describe the care and attention to detail Lanyon Bowdler solicitors apply to the work they do for their clients.
Now a competition has been launched for people to count how many completed bears appear in the film - and the winner will be presented with their very own bear.
Amanda Jones, marketing manager at Lanyon Bowdler, said: “A big part of our philosophy is that our solicitors are warm, friendly and approachable, so we wanted to show that in a fun and engaging way.
“Working with Orion Media, we thought the meticulous way that Merrythought make their bears was the perfect metaphor for our working practices, and we were delighted to link up with such a well-established Shropshire firm for our film, which has been released at the perfect time of the year.”
