Shropshire law firm Lanyon Bowdler recently reinforced its commitment to supporting the local community by presenting a cheque to Severndale Specialist School in the sum of £1,152.94.

The monies were raised by Lanyon Bowdler staff via the firm’s Charities Committee, which chooses two charities each year to support, this year it is the turn of Severndale Specialist School and Madeley based Club 2000.

The cheque was presented to Garry Dean, assistant headteacher at Severndale Specialist School by Lanyon Bowdler’s managing partner, David Battisby at the firm’s recent early summer drinks evening at the Ludlow Food Centre.

In addition to the monies donated via their Charities Committee, Lanyon Bowdler is supporting Severndale Specialist School by entering a show garden on the school’s behalf at this year’s Shrewsbury Flower Show.  Progress of the garden project can be found at http://severndalespecialistschoolgarden.wordpress.com/.
