A Shrewsbury restaurant situated in a local gym has just launched an amazing new menu for all to try.

The restaurant in Shrewsbury  wants everybody to sample their wonderful new menu and see for themselves that The Hub in The Shrewsbury Club is a great place to eat.

The Hub bar and restaurant, located in The Shrewsbury Club has always been the place to go for great food, but with the launch of their new menu on the horizon they’re keen to entice your pallet with their new healthy, clean and fresh tastes.

Head chef, Duncan Carpenter has created the new menu with a splash of Thai themed dishes. After being in the industry for over 16 years, he has extensively travelled and cooked in the south eastern Asian islands, as well as working in a variety of well-known local establishments including The Peach Tree.

Daily Specials

The Hub has a great choice of regular daily specials such as ‘Pad Phet Moo’. Tender hot spicy pork cooked in a red curry sauce infused with green peppercorns, kaffir lime and birds eye chillies.

Another favourite is the classic British dish with an Eastern twist, the slow cooked pork belly is crisped up and served with wilted pak choi, fresh ginger in an oyster sauce.

The Khao Tom Gai soup has been such a popular dish with The Hubs regulars that it has now made its way onto the new menu as a permanent resident. The fragrant dish combines chicken and jasmine rice with fresh ginger, spring onions and coriander. Extra chillies for the brave.

New Menu

The new menu is not just for lovers of the South-Eastern Asian gourmet, they also offer range of wholesome, hearty food such as they’re classic ‘Shrewsbury Club sandwich’ and the goats’ cheese, beetroot and walnut salad. All ingredients are sourced from local butchers and markets, keeping Shrewsbury towns produce and small businesses part of the menu.

The Hub is open every day from 8am and is the perfect place to meet, eat and relax. Even if you’re just meeting friends for a cup of freshly ground coffee or staying for a 3 course meal, you’re assured a warm welcome with a smile.
