A Shrewsbury PR agency is celebrating its own success story with a run of prestigious contract wins, an expansion of its team, and the marking of a major milestone.

Zen Communications has seen its retained client portfolio grow by 30% in the last quarter alone, has appointed a new PR Administrator and a new PR Executive, and is celebrating five years in business.

“Celebrating our fifth birthday is in itself a major milestone” explained Zen’s Founder and Director Felicity Wingrove. “Most of our agency’s life has been spent in the midst of the recession and yet we’ve grown the agency from an owner-operator business with just me, to a fantastic team of six highly-trained PR people and ex-journalists, operating from dedicated premises on Battlefield Enterprise Park.”

“The economic conditions have absolutely meant that we’ve been more conservative and cautious in our growth and expansion than we may otherwise have been, but I’m hugely proud of what we’ve achieved in the last few years. The agency has developed an enviable client base which covers Shropshire-based owner-operator start-ups right through to national and multi-national FTSE100 companies.
