A Shrewsbury IT company set up less than two years ago is braced for a boom in business after completing a £50,000 contract with a primary care trust.
Shrewsbury-based Shropshire ITC has finished cabling and installing phone systems, broadband and public address systems at the £13 million Severn Field Health Village in Shrewsbury.
And managing director Vince Dovey said he was expecting to attract more business from across the UK on the back of the success of the completed contract.
“We work with all kinds of companies, whatever the size, both in the public and private sector,” he said.
“What is important to us is that we deliver projects on time and do our very best for our clients and they are satisfied with what we do.
“The health village in Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, opened on time and without any technical problems.”
He added: “We were proud that the PCT put their trust in us, a small local firm, for the scheme to provide communication systems in the new facility.
“Our work on the health village has already resulted in more inquiries from other primary care trusts and educational centres.
“It is an exciting time for the company and we are hoping 2013 will lead to even more business for us as more people see the good work we are doing and want to use our services.”
The company offers a full suite of IT products, land-lines, broadband including satellite broadband but has recently focused its work on providing telephone systems and relocations for businesses. It currently has seven members of staff, including two apprentices, and hopes to add to the workforce in the new year by taking on an extra apprentice.
