Shrewsbury Family Chiropractic will be holding a very special event to help the Salvation Army give local children a gift this Christmas between the 3rd and 14th of December.
This is the first time Chiropractor Dr Glenn Fredericksen has been able to participate in this very special event, but for a number of years the event has already proved to be popular with the new and existing clients of many of the participating Chiropractic practices around the country.
Dr Glenn Fredericksen, Doctor of Chiropractic and the head of the practice located in Shrewsbury town centre, said: “This year we will be supporting The Salvation Army with their Christmas Present Appeal.
"Between the 3rd and 14th of December we will be offering an initial consultation and physical examination followed by a report of findings in exchange for a gift.
"We are asking new customers to bring along a suitable new toy or a few smaller toys to the value of £20 or more and they will receive in exchange their initial appointment, valued at £45.
"We are asking patients taking up this charitable offer to attach a Christmas message from themselves or their own children, for that special personal touch.”
The toys will be delivered in time for Christmas to local children in the area who might otherwise have very little or nothing on Christmas morning. Even if people do not have an appointment on this day, they may wish to bring in a toy during the week.
We believe that every child deserves a special gift at Christmas and ask that donated toys be new. Smaller toys can be bundled up to make the desired value.
Help us to make a special difference for a child this Christmas, thank you.
