Shropshire business Ace Car Care has scooped the national Best Customer Service Award for its Black Code remapping dealership - which has sparked huge praise from customers.
Black Code Vehicle Remapping, the UK’s premier vehicle ECU remapping authority, announced Pam Williams, of Black Code Shropshire and Telford, as the 2013 winner after reading through dozens of letters and emails from customers saying how impressed they are.
Remapping involves modifying the engine to perform better, lowering emissions, making the vehicles engine operate more efficiently, resulting in better fuel economy, towing capabilities and improved performance.
Oli Billson, of Black Code, said: “The team at Ace Car Care consistently receives accolades from customers who take the time to write to Black Code and tell us how impressed they are.
“The core of any business is customer service and at Black Code customer service is as important as producing a great new engine map for our customers. Pam and her team are a living example of how to thrill your customers with amazing service.”
Black Code Shropshire have been operating for almost five years, carrying out hundreds of remaps each year and has consistently received high praise from customers.
Louise Baker, who had her BMW remapped at Ace Car Care, said: “It feels like I have got a new car. All of the staff were very courteous and really helpful and polite. A first class, efficient service. I was so impressed I tell anyone who will listen about the services, I am becoming a Black Code bore!”
Ace Car Care and Black Code work with a variety of different customers who have their vehicles remapped for different reasons, from commuters and businesses who need to be more fuel efficient to emergency services and caravan owners that need more power.
Mrs Williams said: “It is a real honour to be chosen to receive this customer service award.
“For us at Ace Car Care customer service is extremely important in all aspects of the work that we do, from remapping to repairs, and to be rewarded for the efforts of myself and my team is brilliant.”
Ace Car Care recently moved from Harlescott Lane to Vanguard Way on Shrewsbury’s Battlefield Enterprise Park and all Black Code services are available from the new workshop.
