Revive Aromatherapy of Shrewsbury started as a one-woman home-based massage business but over the past six years has grown and now has premises in the unique Parade Shopping center in the center of town.
Revive has two other therapists working from the practice and 300 clients on the books. Owner Jen Hawkins and team have treated people from as far away as the USA, Japan and Australia, who are visiting Shrewsbury or visiting family.
Far afield
The Shrewsbury massage therapy business also has many regular clients, with some people travelling from London and Manchester and even a couple from Switzerland who visit bi-annually.
Jen said: "The youngest client is 19, the eldest 88 and we treat both men and women. Irrespective of age or gender, people visit Revive to feel more like a human being again and less of a human doing.
Care and attention
"We pride ourselves on not working to the hour or booking people back to back so they get the time care and attention they deserve. Blending a unique combination of organic essential oils for each client to encourage circulation and restore their energy levels and using a range of massage styles and techniques to release any stress and tension in the muscles.
"It's been a steep learning curve and the economic climate has been a challenging time to establish a new business but we're pleased to say we are still growing and going from strength to strength."
Dinner date
To show their gratitude to all the people who have helped and supported Revive Aromatherapy over the years, Jen is holding a fabulous prize draw....
