Leading caravan and motorhome dealership Salop Leisure's marketing manager received a surprise gift from one of his idols to mark his 10 years with the company.

Scott Higgins was lost for words when Graham Turner, manager of Shrewsbury Town Football Club, presented him with a framed shirt signed by all the players in the current squad.

The presentation was made after Mr Turner had officially opened Salop Leisure's new £1 million holiday home village and secure caravan storage facility at the company's HQ in Shrewsbury.

Scott, a lifelong Shrewsbury Town fan, said: "It's a fantastic gift to receive to mark my 10 years with the company. I thoroughly enjoy working for Salop Leisure and look forward to the next decade at our exciting new development and the business opportunities that lay ahead for the company.

"To round off a successful year it would be great to see Shrewsbury Town gain promotion to Division One."
