Have you recently placed an order with us? Then congratulations – you’re now the proud owner of a hot tub!

There’s nothing better than relaxing in a hot tub with your loved ones, but before you can invite your friends over for a soak you’ll need to have your new purchase installed and set up. Don’t let this worry you though, as we offer hot tub delivery and installation services, which means you can leave this to us and avoid the hassle.

Our team will deliver your new hot tub directly to your door and get it up and running in no time, so you will not need to make any additional arrangements or do this yourself. However, there are a few things you can do to prepare your garden for our visit and make sure the entire installation runs smoothly, which we explore below.

Our hot tub delivery services

All of our hot tubs and swim spas will be delivered by us and your estimated delivery date will be included in your order confirmation so you will know the date of delivery well in advance of our visit.

On the day of your delivery, our hot tub delivery service will handle everything on your behalf, including:

  • Delivering the hot tub to your home.
  • Moving the hot tub into your garden space, and if there is no suitable access, crane lifting it into the intended location.
  • Moving the hot tub to the preferred location within the garden.
  • Setting up the hot tub and connecting the electrics.
  • Talking you through the basics of operating your hot tub.

To make sure that this whole process goes smoothly, we ask that you keep this pre-delivery checklist to hand and take the following steps to have your garden ready for us.

Prepare the space

Before you visit our showroom, we highly recommend deciding where in your garden you would like to install a hot tub and measuring the space available to you. This will help us to recommend the right models for you based upon the space limitations and will also avoid any surprises when it comes to installing your hot tub.

We are able to install hot tubs on a range of surfaces, including decking, and patios, provided that the space available is level, structurally-sound, and large enough to accommodate the necessary equipment. So, once you have received your order confirmation it’s time to prep this space by clearing away any furniture, plant pots, or garden structures that are currently there.

Identify an electric supply

One of the most important considerations to keep in mind when deciding where to have your hot tub installed is to choose a location that is close to a source of electricity. This power source will need to be protected from the outdoor elements and able to run continuously once the hot tub is installed, as this will supply it with the power it needs to run properly, so contact us directly if you have any questions regarding these requirements.

Provide an access route

Your new hot tub will be brought into your garden on its side which means that it is not just the installation area that will need to be the right size. You will also need to consider the route that your hot tub will take through your garden and let us know about any obstacles that our team might encounter when moving the hot tub through your garden.

This includes outdoor taps, steps, and small garden walls but does not include any movable items as these should be cleared away before our installation team arrives. The hot tub will also need a wide turning area to get through any corners, particularly if they require a 90 degree turn, so please take this into account when preparing your garden.

Notify us of any access issues

If you do notice any access issues during this preparation stage, including any gateways or narrow pathways, then please notify us and we will adapt our hot tub delivery service to avoid them.

This will include using a crane to lift the hot tub from our delivery vehicle into your garden, but there are still ways for you to help us by clearing any overhanging branches and providing a suitable space to park the crane. This will also make it easier for us to understand the access requirements for future visits and plan our ongoing maintenance services accordingly.

On the day

On your hot tub delivery day, all you will need to do is meet our team at the door, inspect your new hot tub or swim spa and verify that you are happy with its condition.

We’ll then get started on installing it and setting it up and our team will call you over for a demonstration once the hot tub is ready. This is why we ask our customers to have the space prepped and cleared before we arrive, to minimise delays and guarantee that our team is able to complete the installation.
