Steve says: "Three people are contacted when an alarm goes off to ensure that no alarm is missed and the nearest person is mobilised. They will pick up the keys and specific instructions to the property. If it is a false alarm, they will make safe the property, re-set the alarm, return the keys and give the owner a full report.

"If there is a sign of an intruder through an exterior patrol, the police are called immediately. The security officer will stay and wait for them and again inform the owners.
