With more than 300,000 vibrant plants set to transform our parks, roundabouts, planters, and streets, the Town Council’s expert team are working tirelessly to ensure Shrewsbury remains the undisputed “Town of Flowers.”

We need help from our businesses to make our town a floral masterpiece! By ordering a hanging basket, you’re directly contributing to Shrewsbury’s breathtaking floral display, impressing both judges and visitors alike. Each hanging basket for the business costs £60 (Inc. VAT) — this includes delivery, watering throughout the summer, and end-of-season disposal. Not only does this offer great value for money, but it’s also a simple and effective way to enhance your business’s kerb appeal with a pop of colour that will attract customers and enhance the welcoming atmosphere within the town.

The deadline for 2025 orders is 30 May, with delivery beginning week commencing 9 June.

This year, Shrewsbury will welcome the Heart of England in Bloom judges on 22 July. The Britain in Bloom UK Finals judges will be welcomed to the town on 31 July. There is so much at stake; we want you to be a part of ensuring our town is looking its absolute best!
