Origins Restaurant at Shrewsbury College will be hosting a free Christmas Fayre on Saturday, 6 December between 10am and 2pm.
Ted Coxon, Restaurant Manager at Origins would like to invite Shropshire shoppers along to the College’s festive fayre, which is set to offer a fantastic variety of local foods, crafts and Christmas gifts.
The College held its first Christmas Fayre last year and with overwhelming success, it is back by popular demand.
The restaurant, although not open for dining throughout the event, will be selling mulled wine and mince pies.
Ted Coxon, Restaurant Manager, said: “We are kicking off December with this truly festive event which incorporates our love of all things local. It’s the perfect time to start your Christmas shopping with some produce from the county.
“We hope as many people from the community join us throughout the event. Please get in touch with me if you would like to run a stall.”
Local businesses and entrepreneurs can hire a stall at the fayre for a small charge of £5, which will be donated to the British Red Cross – but spaces are limited. Please contact Ted Coxon on 01743 342537.
