Shropshire families are being invited to a FREE Christmas Concert featuring Shrewsbury College’s Choir at St Chad’s Church in the town.
The choir will be performing a variety of choral numbers and solos between 4pm – 5pm on Wednesday, December 18, in conjunction with late night Christmas shopping.
The choir consists of first and second year students from the college. Michael Jenkins, Choir master at Shrewsbury College, said: “I am extremely excited to direct the new choir in such a fantastic venue. This is the first ever public performance for the newly formed choir and hopefully the first of many to come.’’
The choir will perform regularly throughout the year at various locations across Shropshire and are expecting to perform their next concert in early 2014.
