The TimeOut glamping holiday concept which began in Denmark and is now popular at selected campsites across Europe is set to arrive in Shropshire in time for summer breaks.

The award-winning Love2Stay resort on the outskirts of Shrewsbury has invested in four TimeOut luxury glamping tents, made by Isabella in Denmark, for its touring caravan park.

The glamping units are ready for use, furnished with everything needed to spend a holiday in the great outdoors. They are equipped with real beds, furnished living space with a sofa bed and kitchenette, kitchen utensils and terrace.

Isabella say the TimeOut luxury tents are like a hotel set in nature. All guests have to do is pack their clothes and the rest is ready for them.

The TimeOut glamping tents are perfect for an active holiday, holiday with children and friends or a romantic weekend getaway. They can sleep up to five people.

Isabella, who have been producing high quality, canvas products since 1957, introduced TimeOut three years ago to attract new target groups to experience camping life as a form of holiday.

TimeOut glamping tents are made with strong, hard-wearing materials and their modern design is focused on functionality, durability and making campers’ lives easier.

Laura Wilde, Love2Stay’s marketing assistant, said: “It’s a great addition to compliment the offering we already have here at Love2Stay. We are frequently asked if we allow tents, so we hope that this is something to suit those who don’t have a touring caravan or motorhome to come and enjoy a stay with us.”

Love2Stay resort has 36 luxury glamping lodges, a touring caravan park with 118 pitches, a coffee shop and pizzeria, natural bio swimming pool, fishing lake, adventure centre with an assault course, bootcamp and gym and a range of wellness therapy services on its 22-acre site, which enjoys views across to Wales and the Shropshire Hills.
