With 2013 drawing to a close, Shrewsbury College is inviting people to look at its huge range of part-time courses which can help people broaden their horizons.

Whether you want to develop your skills or pursue a new career or improve in your current one, the College teaches qualifications across a wide range of subjects from Digital Photography to DIY and Stone Carving to Sugarcraft.

Courses are available to anyone aged 19 or over and people who are in receipt of particular benefits may qualify for a fee reduction. The part-time prospectus, featuring all of the courses which start from January, can be found on the College website or people can call up to request one or call into one of our campuses to pick one up.

“I chose the Counselling course as it enables me to develop useful skills that are transferable across professions and will give me the option to progress to study at a higher level, ‘’ said part-time Counselling student, Emily Jones.

‘’The learning environment offers a warm, inviting atmosphere and is not reminiscent of a traditional classroom, which is particularly pleasant after a day at work,’’ she added.

The College will be hosting an Advice Event on January 16 at London Road Campus, 5pm – 7pm so call in for more information. Alternatively you can call 01743 342333 or click here.
