Our second visit to the farm and it was just as good as our previous visit. If your into history or even farming, Acton Scott is the place to go. Watching the heavy horses doing what they do best is a...
This is an amazing interactive experience for the family of all ages young and old to enjoy. It was educational, fun and a friendly place to spend the day

Loved learning about the mammoth and the history of the beautiful surrounding Shropshire countryside. The film gives a great overview of both the history and beauty of the area. Lots of lovely walks...
So good to be able to spend time at Acton Scott and curses to the lockdown as they were planning to be open until December. Their maximum capacity means it never feels over busy and the staff are knowledgeable...
The farm was well worth visiting. Lots of interesting things to see and knowledgeable staff and volunteers to tell us about them. However, our day was marred by the attitude of the chef in the cafe, who...
Fantastic day out, lovely friendly people. Loved seeing the animals run free. Would recommend anyone with kids to go here.
A slice of rural life which contributes much to urban understanding.
The farm was lovely although limited due to Covid. All the people working /volunteering were great too. Unfortunately we had an appalling experience with the chef. On politely enquiring if we'd been forgotten...
Fascinating, enjoyable esp when all the little demos are up and working. A warm welcoming place bring your boots
Great day out with young kids
We went for a walk here which was lovely, however more signage is needed. The cafe is expensive for what you get and staff was OK not very welcoming to be honest.
Beautifully kept historic working farm with historical farming bits and pieces very interesting
Excellent customer service and so much to see and interact with, animals, farm equipment surrounded by beautiful countryside. Great day out for young and old. A happy, informative, relaxed day out to share...
Reasonably priced, fantastic, friendly staff, amazing animals and things to do. Would recommend this place to anyone with an interest in historic farming and somewhere the kids can get stuck in with the...
Loved our visit today. Always a joy to see animals and the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the shire horses and talking to Tom the farrier who was absolutely fascinating.
Great day out with young kids
Intrigued and lured in by the signage we stopped in on our way from Stokesay to Church Stretton. Unfortunately this just wasn't for us. The shop and centre weren't especially distracting and the museum...
Fabulous day! Lovely place! Super friendly people. Lots of great animals. Beautiful setting. We will be going again. Great for adults and children of all ages.
Over priced for what is provided. Our visit was post covid and I feel they should have reduced the price as there was very little for children to do.
A great afternoon out with authentic machinery, old buildings, fantastic animals (many ducks, chickens, pigs, calves). Covid measures being followed carefully, a handful of buildings not open as number...

The visitor centre is very nice, very smart and informative. There is a good cafe there too. Well worth a few quid to go and learn about the area's history, geology and archaeological sites. There's a...
