An educational, entertaining day out near Shrewsbury. Highlights incl. a GPS treasure trail, simulated balloon ride and life size replica of a woolly mammoth! The centre focuses on interactivity and is perfect for the whole family or school trips.
We really enjoyed our visit to the discovery centre. It is a locally run and charity funded centre. The mammoth exhibition was very interesting and the exact replica mammoth very impressive. The grounds down to the river are lovely to walk and the local scenery is fantastic. The excellent cafe is also well worth a visit. In all it is a brilliant asset to the local area. Highly recommended.

Returned for the first time today in over 30 years. Nothing has changed. It is as beautiful as ever. So many happy memories from here. The volunteers are so passionate, the cafe is amazing. Perfect place for a few hours escape.
