Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is a truly varied day out. Stand in a simulated hot air balloon ride! Stand back from a life size replica of the Shropshire mammoth! The mammoth was found in Condover, near Shrewsbury. Hear it roar, then perhaps take a breather in the family cafe.

Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is surrounded by 30 acres to explore; way-marked footpaths and for the adventurous… a GPS treasure trail! More hunting! Grab your state of the art GPS gadget and follow the flashes to prizes dotted around the woodlands. It's Geocaching - to use the proper term - but it's educational and fantastic fun, and that's the most important thing!
The visitor attraction even holds special family activities in the holidays, so it doesn't have to be just a quick trip or day out. You can come back time and time again and do different things! Pond dipping! Orienteering!
