Tainted by general insurance premiums hike Howden people tried really hard to get the best deal. Tough job but think they did very well in circumstances.

Another year renewing my Car Insurance with Howden Insurance, formally A-Plan. Always pleasant to deal with and they are always mindful I work for the NHS so it's not easy for me to find the time to speak to them concerning renewing my insurance. I would highly recommend.

I’ve used A-plan who are now Howdens for years on and off, mostly on as I find their service and attention to detail very good. My insurance costs are very competitive with others and being able to speak to someone in a local office rather than a call centre is important. I have two vehicles insured currently with them.
I’ve only given four stars as recently I wished to obtain another quote for a third vehicle and disappointingly no one was able to deal with my enquiry due to a busy period, promised a call back the following day, still waiting at least a week later. Subsequently my business for this Insurance for this vehicle has gone to another company. Poor show from what previously was excellent customer service as A-plan. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come as I usually have no issues.
