Through a bad experience arranging motor insurance on-line, when the renewal was due I arranged cover through Howden Insurance in Solihull. I can't speak highly enough of the service I received from Nigel and Amy.
I have just renewed my home insurance and had no hesitation in arranging this through Howdens. I also had to discuss a change to my motor insurance as a result of a sudden change in circumstances. Emma Stanton was amazing. She was calm, professional and patient. Once again, I feel completely confident that I have the best insurance cover to suit my requirements and the help and support of the Howden's team, should I need it.

Kerri was professional, personable, helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She answered all our questions, seeking confirmation from the underwriters when required. The brief was complicated; I needed to insure a car that will almost certainly be sold within a year. I couldn’t find a company willing to give cover for a partial year or arrange a money back option. So, prior to Howdens, I only managed to get quotes for a whole year.
It took time but Kristella (at the Bicester branch) was patient and seemed to enjoy the challenge. It payed off as she managed to get a great ‘money back’ deal. It was only approximately 15% more than the best ‘non flexible’ quote I could get - brilliant, especially as my wife was also included as an extra driver.

Quiet sensible man who listened carefully, went away and found an acceptable quote within about a quarter of an hour. I already had a lower quote from another agent so I knew the approx cost but it had unacceptable conditions. Howdens guy understood why those conditions were impossible for a classic car and did not have any such conditions in the quote. So Howdens got our business.

Dealing with Howden insurance had been a breath of fresh air.
My previous insurance company was horrendous to deal with especially if anything needed to be changed with my policy.
Howden have actual people that can deal with what you need.
