I wanted to take out travel insurance via a person. Sadly they were too busy to answer the phone. I took out an online policy, which is where basic errors were made. I entered details for single trip, which would have started immediately. Then I took the option to update to annual. The trip date then becomes the start date, so had I needed to claim I wouldn't have been covered. I would have lost just shy of £2k!
Also, why have a worldwide policy that does not include the states! My 3hr transfer cost me a further £30.
The staff in the office were really helpful and should I opt to use this company again I would only go via a person.
