I went into my local branch, Ruislip, as I had taken out a policy for my car insurance with them, and was hoping to get a travel insurance policy. I am an old lady and prefer to deal with people rather than the internet, as I have made several mistakes doing that.
They were very kind and understanding, but did not do the travel insurance; they gave me a number for a branch which they said could help me.
I did ring this branch, and they were very friendly, efficient and helpful, they gave me a quote, but it was very expensive, so I decided to look elsewhere.

However, it would be nice to know how Insurance Brokers are responding to insurers price hikes. Are brokers commenting on increases and describing to clients what the key causes are. Inflation is only a small part. If food suddenly increased by over 30% per annum there would be reasons given.
