Dealt with Emily all way through renewal of car insurance. Been with Howden for five years and I like that they are local, accessible and the consistent way they operate. Phone calls are easy with friendly clear well delivered English and politely spoken operatives, this is very important to me.
In these times of ever increasing price hikes, Emily did her utmost to provide me with a best possible renewal price and this included a reduction to original quote based on my partner and I having our home insurance also via Howden Insurance. This I appreciate very much.

Been using A Plan now Howden for years, vehicle and home, to be perfectly honest it’s not the same as it was, when it was A Plan they would do whatever they could to keep your business, you always felt valued and was talking to an experienced person, unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, recently took out another new car policy, it took nearly 45 minutes as I kept being put on hold while they went to ask someone about this that and the other, they just seem to be like any other big insurance company now which is a great shame but I suppose it’s the way things are now, I for one will definitely be doing a lot more shopping around at renewal time

Howden Insurance were fantastic from the first time I called them. I bought a Suzuki Jimny but unfortunately, due to it being a commercial vehicle, my insurance I used before wouldn’t cover it. I sat at the dealership while Howden Insurance not only got me a great deal but helped me sort out drive away insurance as well as the cost of the insurance would have been more if it started immediately compared to starting the next day. Without their advice, I would have found it hard to get the best deals.
