Always use Howdens, (formerly A plan) prefer the service you get and being able to actually visit the office if you happen to have an enquiry, much nicer and easier to talk to a person, not just a voice.

Courteous staff, efficient and friendly service, and no being put on hold for ages waiting to talk to someone. If they say they'll call you back, then they do. They were also willing to have a negotiation on price and promptly sorted out a problem I had with the Certificate of Insurance (that was down to the insurer, not Howden). Very happy all round with the service and price.
