I’ve thought about changing my house insurance to find a more cost effective provider. When I was talking to Tania about horsebox insurance, she mentioned Howden also do house insurance. She guided me through all the questions and came up with various options for house insurance, one of which I have chosen…. and saved £400!!
Tania was super helpful, and I felt was looking after my interests. She took her time and I never felt rushed or hurried.

Unlike my previous insurers who give you a quote and then when you look elsewhere give you a better one . Not having that . You gave me your best offer the first time and as it wasn't that much more because of your honesty I went with you , Howdens .

Although they were unable to beat the policy I took out today, I cannot speak highly enough of Charlie Jones at the Witney, Oxford branch who spent so much time finding out exactly what I was looking for and did her absolute best to try and match / beat my quote. The customer service by this colleague was unmatched. Whilst I won't be a customer for this year, I will definitely be trying again next year. I hope Howden acknowledge what a great customer service team they have as interactions this positive for stressful things like insurance are rare. Thank you Charlie!

Very friendly polite agents, particularly Emma Stanton who went the extra mile to try and maintain my car insurance quote on a new vehicle but was unable to match my quote. I have been a longstanding customer for over 40 years. Hopefully in the future I may try again next year, but had no choice but to cancel due to the price I obtained which was considerably cheaper.
