I used to be an A plan customer who was moved to Howden, not sure why but since the move our home insurance increased by 51% on renewal and when I declined the emailed renewal and asked a question I didn't receive a response, holding or otherwise. I will be taking my business elsewhere and would advise all customers in a similar position to look closely at any renewal quotes. disappointing but I guess big business wins again. I'm also unable to log in to my A plan account as the Howden website says I don't exist!

03/08/24 have since been contacted by branch with explanation of why costs had rise so much and after some clicks of their mouse and some tweaks in terms they managed to get the increase down to around 5% which whilst appreciated still doesn't really prove to me Howden are putting in enough initial effort to secure best deal for customer. advice would be to check and challenge.

Phone Howden Insurance after getting an email from them that my car insurance was due for renewal. Spoke to one of their representative, Gregor. Lovely young man who took me, step by step through the renewal process and letting me know what each section and cost of what I wanted out of my car insurance, was.
