Only reason not top score was that I missed being told there was a fee of around £50 for the advice given. I had always assumed insurance brokers received payment from the insurance company they placed business with.

No complaints about the young lady I dealt with but the amount I paid was astronomical I could not afford to pay the extra for contents cover I know I had a claim 2 years ago but it seems that I will have to pay for it even though it was a shoddy job & I had to pay to get people in to put it right I’m a pensioner & can not afford to pay this amount

Renewed my caravan insurance through Howden. I gave the advisor the details and explained what cover I was looking for and left it with her. Later the same day she called with a great deal, it was great to actually speak to someone who was happy to do all of the chasing about to find the best deal instead of spending ages online typing in the same information every time to find the best quote.
