Greg & Tom at Howden's were both Fantastic. Great Customer service, which goes along way. I did however find cheaper cover, but the cheapest is not always the best. Insuring with Howden's again, gives me confidence that i have better support & service.

My admiral policy renewal came through, almost double the previous years premium.
I decided to get a quote with APlan/Howdens, as I’ve both cars covered with them - and I’ve claimed through before as well (was managed very efficiently) .
The house quote was better terms than my previous policy, and a lot lot cheaper than the renewal.

No automated phone answering system, just a real person (and relatively local if you want actually meet them in person) offering a friendly, helpful and competitive service. Friendly because they answer the phone & speak to you with an interested can do attitude, helpful because Howden dealt with the insurance company of a third party’s insurance company (ie not my own insurance policy they brokered) who damaged our property saving me the time & hassle of getting them to pay up and competitive because as a large international broker (with local presence) they have the clout to negotiate hard with insurance companies to get their clients better deals than if you tried to do so yourself.
