Talking with the people at Howden is a pleasurable experiance they are always helpful and extremly knowledgeable about the products they sell. I have just renewed my car insurance with them for another year. I was very close to going elsewhere but after talking through the options with Connor at the Andover branch I decided to stick with them. It is so much nicer talking to a real person that understands my requirements rather than a bot on-line.

The service was efficient and relatively quick for a Saturday morning. The agent listened to everything we said and answered our questions or looked up the answer. He explained the cooling off period and urged us to check our insurance schedule within that time. he also saved us a little bit of money.

Annie Steward was the agent that looked after this renewal for me. Annie has provided a 5 star service as I am extremely busy, So I when Annie has called I've had to request she call me back. Which she has done on time, every time, without complaint.

What an amazing company this is. I usually dread renewing my car and home insurance but this company made it an absolute dream. I spoke to a man called Matt who was absolutely fantastic. Have just renewed my campervan insurance. Spoke with Kerry, she was very helpful and answered my one query very clearly which meant I was happy to go ahead with the renewal.
Everything was explained and even a little cheaper than the quote as my mileage will be less. I had tried to get quotes from other insurance companies but as my campervan was professionally converted but not by a 'named' converter, it's really hard to get a quote, if at all!

My husband recently passed away so I found myself in the minefield that is anything car related. I found a number amongst his paperwork for Howdens and spoke to Frankie Lansley at the Tooting branch. He was like a breath of fresh air. He was so helpful, understanding and patient. He phoned me back when he said he would and explained the policy in detail. I would definitely recommend him and hope he gets the credit he deserves.

Overall the experience was good, We had already received a quote but rang them to see if there was anything they could do with the price. They managed to shave just over £40 off, so we did stay with them. Our main issue was that it had took me a couple of days staying on hold for ages to get through, once through the service was well explained and sorted within minutes.

Today I renewed my home contents insurance / yes the premium has gone up BUT not nearly as much as I had anticipated! i had professional assistance from Mr James McIntosh who ensured I had the best option having done the work of investigating the insurance market for me.
