The quote was Hugh, but I understand that rates have risen. What annoyed me was other Howden agents contacting me and phoning my wife. A clear GDPR violation. If thus happens again, I will report the breach and take my not inconsiderable account elsewhere.

I have been dealing with what was A Plan on commercial insurance for several years and found them very easy and professional to deal with. Recently I needed to re insure my camper van with my existing insurer, Motorhome Protect, who were quite the opposite. I tried to discuss issues with the agent in renewals who only seemed interested in getting me off the line and onto another department.
I then tried Howdens who were excellent and moved my insurance to them. Highly recommended.
