Once again I have great regard for Howden for the tenacious way they look after us when a claim has to be raised.
This time it was Paresh Modi of Bromsgrove. I wasn’t surprised They have a great Manager too.
Howden (aka A Plan) have scoured the insurance market for us over many years to seek out best value for money and when things are lost or broken etc there are no dramas as they have our backs.
Did they exceed my expectations this time? Nope - experience tells me to expect much and they delivered once again.
I’m sure I could pay less on line. Pay less and get less. It’s life.

We were very pleased with the service although when we got an insurance quote for a new home the only date we had at the time was the expected completion. The insurance premium was agreed on that. We later learnt that we had to insure from exchange of contracts. When we did that the premium went up by over 10%. Whilst not the fault of Howden directly we feel that Howden staff should have been aware of the exchange date being the important date not the completion and with that knowledge we may not have incurred the extra cost
