It was great to going into Howden Insurance office in Harrogate and discuss our requirements face to face. Joshua asked all the questions and explained each part to make things easy. He then serched various sites to get the right cover and the best price. This was very refreshing, than having to do it on-line.

My renewal quote appeared to be rather excessive so I went online and found some much more acceptable quotes about £200 cheaper for the same level of cover.
I was then called by Howden to ask if I would like to renew. After explaining the situation to them, they offered to have a look at it. They offered me a quote which was only £6 dearer than what I found online with slightly better cover, so I decided to accept it. The end result was good and the lady that called me was very nice to deal with. The only thing I don't understand is why their initial quote was so high.

Jack was friendly, professional and very helpful. No question was too hard and he wasn't patronising unlike some companies. I came away feeling pleased that I had the insurance I needed at a price that was less than those other companies.

Despite insurance companies having put up their premiums by an outrageous amount, Catherine Smith was great to deal with. Very patient and personable. The amount we all have to pay isn't Howden's fault and they've been great to deal with over the years I've been with them.
