My experience with Howden was very satisfactory right from the start to the finish. Young lady (sorry I can’t remember her name) talked through the insurance and explained when needed. My delight in being offered a cheaper cover in comparison to my current insurer made my day. The fact that I could come in and speak to someone in person and not over the phone was a great help. I was warmly welcomed into the office which was staffed by about 10 people. I was seen very quickly and my policy sorted efficiently. The problem I had due to being hard of hearing and wearing hearing aids, was that I found it very difficult to hear what was being said to me due to the assistant at the next desk speaking on the phone. It would, I think, help to have plastic screens between each desk position, to help restrict noise travel. Other than that, the service I received was exemplary.

Charlie Fowler is brilliant - patient, kind and professional. Unfortunately this time Howdens couldn't bear my husband's present insurer so he stayed with them. That is why I have 4 stars instead of 5 stars. We will certainly consider Howdens in the future.
