Having used web to troll through for car insurance quotes, I decided to call in on Howdens for comparison.
So thankful, so much extra info. and advice given to help me choose. Took quote way to check.
Price wise slightly more expensive but not quite like for like comparison. Back to alter a couple of facts. Seen by a different person, equally helpful, knowledgable. Paid the premium.

It is so nice to be able to sit down with someone to discuss insurance rather than online or over the phone. The office is near my home and it is a comfort to know that if I need them there is someone there. My quote was very acceptable and now includes legal cover.

I have used this company to insure a house before. It was my parents house,bu as one of the executors. It was my duty totake care of it,until sold,had towaight for probate.
My regular Ins company, increased the price by almost 50 % I realise price does go up,but that was way to high.

Howdens - brilliant if Liam, of the Exeter office, is an example of their staff. We have nothing but praise for him. He remained calm, professional, helpful and friendly throughout several calls. He instilled confidence that he knew his job inside out. He was able to give solid advice without pushing us into decisions. Yes, a bit more expensive but well worth the extra payment. Will use again.
