Pursuing Car Insurance and came across this Company via the internet. Spoke with Nilesh at Luton Branch, who was very helpful, and the service compared very favourably with the usual anonymous comparison processes (and risks), that I find so frustrating. Whilst on this occasion, I did not proceed with Howden, my positive experience has influenced me to contact them for further requirements later in the year.

We were very happy that we received a competitive and comprehensive quote with attractive add-ons in a very short period of time, and were able to pay the premium and be covered with immediate effect.
But we think much of the credit should go our broker, Nikki at Hencilla Canworth (I think the company has a neew name now.) She gave us her full and speedy attention and found the policy for us.

From start to finish, Sean has been fantastic, professional, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond. I tried several insurers for my Horsebox insurance but Howden were the easiest to get hold of, the most responsive in terms of needs and actually also the cheapest so it was frankly a ‘no brainier’ to go with them.
We found exactly the same thing when getting property insurance quotes last year so we already had high hopes but as this fell under a different (but still local) office we couldn’t be sure that the service standards would be as high.
We were certainly not disappointed and would like to specifically mention Alfie White who was helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

I just wanted to leave a review of my experience with Howden insurance,my van insurance was up for renewal and as per usual my existing insurer wants to increase costs beyond what is considered reasonable,so had a look on line and the following day I received a call from Howden the lady was simply so helpful and we went through all the details etc and the initial price she was able to offer was roughly in line with other companies,then said she will see if she can get it down a bit and would get back to me,her name is Emma Stanton and I can honestly say that she was professional, helpful, informative, understanding (also patient with me for not reading my emails!!). and is the sole reason for me wanting to use this company for my new policy, and I just wanted to give Emma the credit she deserves,. thankyou Emma Stanton..... Let's see if I am able to leave a similar review next year when my insurance is due for renewal !!
