Ive been using Howdens Insurance for many years ..and go back year after year. Im always greeted like a friend...and Given good clear..easy to understand deals on my policies I have with them. A LOVELY woman called "Maria" from the Welwyn Garden City Branch..Ive spoken to a few times which makes my policies feel like a family...Maria was clear amd very professional in her words and helped on any queries I had, or change of circumstances... I will look forward to being with Howdens for a good while longer.

Speaking to a local representative who understood my needs rather than, as with my previous provider, having to manoeuvre around online access or speak to a representative in another country whose accent made the conversation difficult.
The icing on the cake was that local representative was very pleasant, helpful and efficient, my premium was halved. I shall be asking them to quote for my household insurance in August.

Got a reminder to renew my car insurance when they had already taken the money out for it. No paper reminder or insurance papers. To many questions asked when they already had the information. Still awaiting card for breakdown cover as well.

When you traded as A plan I tried for cheaper house insurance, no luck, so was not on my radar. Different name better luck, very pleased with the quote, and the way the conversation went. My late wife also dealt with you as A plan. She worked with Gibbs Hartley Cooper.

Ryan at the Bury St Edmunds branch was very helpful & friendly. The quote I received was cheaper than others i had been given.
Ryan explained everything in a way I understood & even took the time to help me with cancelling an existing policy that I had with another company - which I had trouble doing online myself!
It's now great to be able to pop in & talk to people face to face rather than all online.
