I use A-plan Insurance in Poole as brokers for our house and contents insurance. They are very good at communicating, even when the staff have been working from home during lockdown. The service is personal - no call centres or automated telephone systems - and I feel confident that they are getting me the best deal available. Staff are engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Alex couldn't have ben more helpful, and the process was a pleasant and simple experience from beginning to end, and the result comprehensive and competitive, in fact, precisely what one hopes for from Ann insurance company, but so rarely finds. Went the usual 'compare the' way to get an insurance quote for my VW Transporter. This is my own daily vehicle and is not used for work in anyway, which most of these companies couldn't see to understand. Saw an ad for A-Plan via Facebook, gave them a call and straight away I felt like I was dealing with a company who knew exactly what they are talking about. The quote came in at a 3rd of the cost of the 'others', with the option to change the policy at any point.
I was so glad I saw the Facebook post when I did and it was nice speaking to someone over the phone rather then the painfully slow online chat.
Would highly recommend and make sure you give them a call before going down the usual route.
