I have used A plan in tooting for my car & home insurance for a few years now. I have always found them helpful efficient and they take the time to get you the right policy. I recently needed to change my home insurance and Catherine in the home team was outstanding! She really was a god send in helping me sort out my 2 houses for insurance Thankyou! I've been getting my car insurance for various vehicles from A-Plan Thatcham Schemes and the amazing service I keep getting from them makes me want to write my first review on here (for anyone). They're really good at what they do and personable so you don't feel like there's a 'computer says no' response - have an actual conversation about it. Really good, highly recommended.

Great services from such a friendly polite and helpful team at your Witney branch. I’ve recently been going through a rough time, and they even were so thoughtful to send a sympathy card to me. This was after they found out that my mother had passed away suddenly. It shows you how thoughtful they are to their customers. It means such a lot to be thought of like that. A Plan, do a wonderful job, and I’ve been insured with them for a very long time now. They always search for the cheapest quotes they can find as well. They don’t try to sell you a policy if they can find a cheaper one available. Super service, and I cannot fault them at all

I have had my car insurance with A plan at Guildford High Street and have never had any reason to complain.In fact I was so impressed with them that I changed my home insurance over to them. Having dealt with many companies over the years I tend to rate them in one of several categories ,.......exceptional , good , fair , poor or down right useless. I am a disabled driver who is also deaf and live alone and communicating can be a problem as I can’t use a phone ( just a iPad ) for communication purposes. Recently I had a accident at Guildford and had to be taken to hospital at St George’s in Tooting, London and was detained for some time. As soon as I emailed Lottie Harding the Manageress of A plan at Guildford and explained my situation she said she would get the forms for me and assist me in the matter .
I was to learn precisely what the word “assist” meant to Lottie.
I read a comment by a reviewer whom stated that Aplan go the extra mile which amused me and here is the reason why.
The distance from Guildford to Tooting is 33 miles ( a round trip of 66 miles).Lottie told me that she would bring all the documents required up to the Hospital in Tooting to speed my claim up as I relied on a vehicle ( mine was written off in the accident ) .
Not only that ....the next thing she did was well and truly over and beyond the call of duty.
I needed a certain medication which I had left at home and my iPad lead was also at home and my battery on the iPad was nearly out and I explained this to Lottie . Well the next day I believe it was she drove up to Tooting from Guildford with the papers I had to sign . She stopped in a chemist to buy the medication I needed and also purchased a lead to charge up my ipad !
I defy anyone to give me the name of a manager/company whom would have gone to such lengths to help out a customer in that situation , as far as I am concerned they wouldn’t. It is unheard of....which makes Lottie Harding the Manageress of A Plan in Guildford head and shoulders above the competition........and a cut above all the rest in the business of insurance or any other business for that matter. On another point relating to this matter one of the lads in the A -plan office in Guildford named Edward knew that being in hospital I would be unable to collect the personal and other items which were in my damaged car and which were placed in storage until I was released from hospital. He most kindly voluntarily made the offer to go and collect my items in storage from JD Garages Alton on my behalf knowing that I had difficulty in collecting them . What more could be said of the exceptional staff in this office that not only go that extra mile for their customers but surpass it by leaps and bounds.. I have never come across staff like it anywhere .One lad In the office named Adam previously knew I was having problems setting up my new printer at a very important time when I needed it most. Therefore he kindly stepped up to the plate as he lived near me and said that he would set it all up for me. It is a pity other firms don’t take a leaf from these people’s work ethics and conduct their business accordingly for if this was the case the world be be a far better place to do business in.

Bromley Branch - Required some urgent insurance for a property we were looking to exchange on that same day. Spoke with Deniz around 10am and went over the relevant information. We received our quotes about an hour later then agreed and had insurance in place by lunchtime for a reasonable price too - Recommend them....

A totally new concept in insurance! A company which puts the client first rather than one that exploits loyalty. I have been delighted since moving over to A plan. I have three policies and each one is tailor made for me and somehow they manage to get better deals than I can find on the internet. They do all the work and shop around and even sort out any claims. Each year they review and recommend the best options on the market. What a joy to speak in person rather than to an automated robot.

Jon looked after all our requirements for motor insurance, with great efficiency, a friendly manner, and a great price too!
