I had a very unique situation with my car insurance, but Howden pulled out all of the stops to give me bespoke cover. The situation changed again and i had to cancel my policy, which they did with no fuss whatsoever and even reduced my cancellation fee. The customer support I received throughout my journey with Howden was first rate, they were friendly, helpful, empathetic, and there was no ‘computer said no’ nonsense, there was a real personal touch and i felt truly valued. I cannot rate them high enough!

I've been with Howden, formerly A-Plan, for a long time & have several insurances with them. I don't automatically renew any insurance & they will advise immediately if there's a better deal.
However cheap a quote is, it's important to know that you are dealing with a good company who will pay out in the event of a claim. This is where their advice provides valuable peace of mind. Also in the event of a claim it's useful to have someone to guide you through the process if you are unfamiliar with it. The staff are friendly & helpful with a good knowledge. Despite getting quotes elsewhere I usually end up insuring through them.
