My wife was considering renewing her motor insurance; my motor insurance was also ready for renewal so I suggested we look at a multi car policy.
As I was with LV I enquired and found it was worth considering using them to buy the joint policy.
When I explained to A-Plan that we were looking elsewhere and why, I was told that you do multi car policies and a competitive quote could be provided.
We pursued the quote and found it was better for Carole but less generous for me however, we like supporting local companies and decided the go with A-Plan.
When the details came through we found we had policies with 2 different companies which surprised me as I had been led to believe it was a multi car policy, not policies. We stuck with your quote and paid the bill; I could have got a cheaper multi car policy by sticking with LV and introducing Carole as the second car.
Overall, reasonably happy but would have preferred the policy structure to have been explained better from the start of the conversation, not at the end follwoing my query.

The product offered is acceptable but was not impressed by the inflation beating increase at renewal. It is incomprehensible why service providers believe that clients receiving inflation rated incomes can incite these increases.
It is time that A-Plan wake up to the benefit of providing a service outside of 8:30 - 17:00. Others do and are reaping the rewards!
