I have used A plan for many years for both home and car insurance and have always found them easy to deal with very friendly and helpful and competitive. After having a house fire many years ago it was good having someone local that I could go and talk to about the claim. Highly recommend.

I always receive superb service from A Plan, except that every year when my car insurance is due, I receive a phone call, and the details of the proposed policy are given, usually very quickly. I always ask for the details to be sent to me by post. I received the details, for the same cost referred to in the phone call, and a few days later went to the branch to pay in person (I like to catch up with Carl, who has looked after our insurance needs very well for a number of years). When I returned home, I had received another letter from A Plan and this was for my car renewal, at a different cost to what I had just paid (a higher cost). If this had been the other way around, (a lower cost), I would not have been a very happy bunny! Thre seems to be a bit of a hiccuph every year, and this is why I always call at the branch to see Carl, and pay in person.

Having previously said that I intended to call in the office, Robert Pratt rang me to say the office was closed due to Covid, so we completed my insurance renewal on the phone there and then. He was working from home and couldn't have been more helpful or pleasanter.
