We have dealt with this company for many years . I have always found them helpful and polite . Thomas Houlding answered all my questions in full detail in a manner that I understood . the reason it was not 5 stars was because I thought the quote was a bit expensive expensive .

We were recommended to A-Plan by my father-in-law. Now my children are A-Plan customers and all my insurance policies are managed through them. Nothing is too much trouble for an A-Plan advisor: Discussing requirements, researching the best deals, comparing the tiny details of competing policies, providing documents in whatever form is needed or getting customers back on the road following an accident - everything is done quickly, professionally and cheerfully. Nothing is ever missed and nothing is too much trouble. A-Plan turns arranging insurance from a chore into a pleasure, even when "popping in" to the office is not possible due to COVID. I cannot recommend A-Plan too highly and their advisors are brilliant.

Since I posted the negative review below on 2nd March a Chris Biggs from A-Plan Farnham contacted me. What a breath of fresh air, a pleasure to deal with. He apologised for the way I was treated by the Lichfield branch and quickly set about retrieving me. He sorted out my quote for Home insurance and I gave him instructions to proceed. so much so I will be happy for A-Plan to quote me for car insurance next month. I'm now happy to change my rating from 1- to 5-star. Well done Chris & thank you.

Been highly recommended by a friend. Decided to call the Lichfield branch around 2nd March 2021 to get a quote for home insurance. Spoke with a very nice girl there, who seemed very helpful. Went through all the detail she needed. She advised would get back to me with a quote, sadly this did not happened. Called back on 5th Mar, advised no call back. He apologised and advised they would get back to me. Sadly no call has been received. It is highly unprofessional.

I deal with the American car branch which is in Thatcham, Berkshire.
Unlike other companies who say they specialise in American cars, yet don't
have a clue on your car, and then come up with stupid prices, they give a quote quickly, and always have a great price, even every time I renew!
The monthly instalment plan is handy, although APR is quite high.
I highly recommend them for their American car insurance.

Pay a little extra for a personalised service. There is an Admin fee but I pay that to get personal service and to be able to speak to a real person, in my local area.

I switched my insurance over to A-Plan and dealt with Jon Fletcher in the Worcester branch. He was brilliant, he knew all the answers to my questions, and was very patient with me whilst I checked the details. He had a lovely manner, and it was really nice to be treated like a valued customer, an experience you simply do not get when calling contact centres. The customer service was excellent, I wish I had switched years ago!

Very fair and good insurance brokers.my bank had fraud issues on me account. So. No monies could be taken.so.A-plan came too my rescue and still had my back.*HARRY-WINCHESTER SHOP.amazing help.
