I renewed my car insurance last week but not before having my usual grumble about what appears to be an automatic higher offer system.
A plan have always been good to me over a very long period of time. It is my wish to return good service with my loyalty but it was severely tested this time.
I accepted the plea that they were doing as much as possible with the companies they use but I feel more should be done to negotiate with them particularly for loyal reasonable customers. My use of my car over the last 15 months has been drastically reduced but that has not been factored in.
I conclude with my usual plea that when reviewing my policies (all of which are with Aplan at present) and offering the new policy, I would accept a small increase usually straight away thus negating the need for the negotiating farce that happens.
As I have hardly ever made any claims all I want is a reliable policy that I will not have to claim on (hopefully) and rely on Aplan to look after.

I’ve returned to A-Plan year after year purely for the service. They do the running around for me which saves me time and I like to physically speak with a broker to make sure I’m covered properly with my car insurance.
Yes you can buy cheaper, but you “buy cheap you buy twice”.. when I did try another vendor for cost reasons I found out I wasn’t properly insured!!.. (large reputable company too- because it was done on line & with a robot)..
A-Plan are fast, helpful and prompt they know their market too. Keep it up.
