I required immediate car insurance on 1st June 2021 as I needed to use my vehicle at lunchtime. I tried a few on line comparison sites but found that although it was easy to get quotes it was a different matter trying to apply and one particular well known site made it unbelievably difficult. As my time was running out I phoned A-Plan at Alton Hampshire my local office and was dealt with by Trisha who was efficient, professional and friendly. After talking with Trisha I proceeded to apply with her help and consequently received my e-documents immediately.

Needed Insurance for our Van that we wanted to get remapped for towing.
Our current provider would not cover it and this years premium had gone up by £85 on the renewal.
A-Plan insure one of our other cars and they do modified insurance. They were very helpful, explained everything and the quote with all mods covered was £10 more than we paid with our current provider.

Helpful staff, right and left hand know what each other are doing and appear to work well as a team. The quote provided was surprisingly better than others online, although there was a £50 discount for a second vehicle insured with them. However, the quote for the first vehicle was also very competitive. Surprised that the 'old fashioned' office in town is so competitive compared with online quotes, and how good to actually talk and discuss things directly with someone who is knowledgeable.

You phone up, answer a few questions, they look at the market and give you their best price, which for us has always seemed good; job done.
We have never claimed on any of our insurances, but since the policies are generally with well known reputable companies we don't envisage this bing an issue.
